Policies

Payment
The fee for guitar lessons is due at the beginning of each month. This applies even if the student is absent from the first lesson of the month. I accept cash, personal checks, and electronic payments, for example, VENMO.

Cancellations
Without exception I require at least a four hour notice of cancellation. Anything less than four hours notice will result in the student not being given a make-up lesson for the missed guitar lesson. I check e-mail as well as voicemail throughout the day.

Make-up lessons
Assuming timely notice, the student will be granted a make-up lesson which can be used at my discretion. Make-up guitar lessons do not expire. However, students who stop taking lessons for any reason forfeit all accrued make-up lessons.

Important! ** Make-up lessons cannot be used as partial payment for the monthly lesson fee.

Holidays
The studio will be closed on all major holidays, for example:  July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and the Christmas holidays. Students have several options when lessons fall on holidays: either reschedule their lesson to another day or take a make-up lesson.

Answers to additional questions can be found on the FAQ page.

Dear John, thank you for everything you have taught me about music and the guitar.
